What Is Community Mediation?
Community mediation is a voluntary, confidential process in which a neutral, trained mediator helps people in dispute communicate more effectively and reach their own mutually agreeable solutions.
Unlike court proceedings, community mediation is informal, flexible, and focused on the needs and interests of the people involved — not legal rights or positions. It is free of charge and available to anyone in our service area.
Services Available in Multiple Languages
We offer mediation services in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. If you need services in another language, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you.

School & Youth

How the Process Works
Contact Us
Reach out by phone or email. One of our staff will talk with you about your situation and explain how mediation works.
Intake & Outreach
We contact all parties to explain the process and invite them to participate. Mediation is always voluntary.
Mediation Session
A trained, neutral mediator facilitates a confidential conversation where all parties can share their perspectives and work toward solutions.
Agreement
If the parties reach an agreement, it is written down and signed. Agreements are crafted by the parties themselves — not imposed by the mediator.
