Peaceful Resolution for Every Community
Mediation Services of North Central MA, Inc. (MSI) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing accessible, affordable, and effective conflict resolution services to individuals, families, businesses, and communities throughout North Central Massachusetts. We believe that every person deserves a fair and respectful process for resolving disputes — and that communities grow stronger when conflict is met with dialogue rather than division.
Accessibility
We serve all members of our community regardless of income, background, or language.

Our mediators are impartial facilitators who help parties reach their own agreements.

All mediation sessions are private and confidential, creating a safe space for honest dialogue.

Our history
30+ Years of Service
Founded in the early 1990s, MSI grew out of a community need for accessible, low-cost alternatives to the court system. Over the decades, we have expanded our services to include court-connected mediation, community dispute resolution, conflict coaching, facilitation, and youth programming. We have helped thousands of individuals and families in Fitchburg, Leominster, Gardner, and surrounding communities find peaceful resolutions to their disputes.
Founded as a community mediation center serving North Central MA
Expanded court-connected mediation programs in partnership with local courts
Launched youth programming and school-based conflict resolution initiatives
Serving thousands of clients annually with a team of trained mediators and staff. Now serving the rest of Worcester County.
MSI will be serving a larger geographic area including Worcester, Milford, Uxbridge, Dudley, and Westborough.
Where we serve
North Central Massachusetts and Beyond
We primarily serve communities in North Central Massachusetts and beyond, including Fitchburg, Leominster, Gardner, Athol, Orange, Worcester, and surrounding towns. Our services are available in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
